We’re Here, My Dear is a work that weaves together graphic design, costume, and public space to explore the experience of navigating the night as women, queer, and femme-presenting people. Rooted in both vulnerability and joy, the work reclaims the night as a space of possibility, inviting collective strength, visibility, and play. a night team of women and feminine-presenting people move through the city in shifting formations, sometimes together and sometimes alone, wearing custom-designed costumes. each night performer writes or draws in custom sketchbooks, and the results are later embroidered into the costumes. Building on earlier works such as Baby, I have your back, which activated queer community spaces across multiple cities, We’re Here, My Dear expands this exploration into a larger collective framework, transforming urban space into a site of connection, separation, and visibility.
