these drawings are from sketchbook one. i take my sketchbook on nightwalks, sketching what i see. i have been doing what i like to call data collecting — i inventory the mundane and either draw it as it is or try to combine it with other objects. i am interested in letterforms, signs, symbols, and similar visual elements.
