Strange Spaces is a hypothetical exhibition that illustrates the odd and proper uses of spacing. Strange spaces may occur in between letters, words, lines, and paragraphs.
As the visitors walks through the exhibition, they learn about kerning, tracking, rivers, and leading. The improper application of spacing is noted in red, and the proper application of spacing is marked in blue. Visitors are also encouraged to walk up and down steps, which alludes to line-spacing being too wide or too narrow.
